DCG Venture Selected for MPO Strategy 10.22.2009 - The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) has selected Dering Consulting Group business venture, Avant IMC, to update its Strategic Business Plan. The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority(NJTPA) has selected Dering Consulting Group joint venture, Avant IMC, LLC, to update its Strategic Business Plan. NJTPA is the federally authorized Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for 6 million people in the 13-county northern New Jersey region. Dering Consulting will be working closely with its joint venture partner, Gannett Fleming, Inc. on the project. The strategic business plan combines various elements of the regional transportation plan, based on extensive citizen outreach and work programs with different funding streams, and aligns them with legislative needs and opportunities. In comparison to traditional, independent transportation plans, the business plan integrates multiple plans and programs. |
