Evan Baer joins Dering as a training and data analyst. Prior to Dering, he spent 3 years as a Training & Reporting Data Analyst for MOHELA where he supported the company with analytics related to training and company performance, served as the Learning Management System lead, and was responsible for providing scheduled reporting for both internal and external customers. Evan started his career in 2014 at PHEAA where he served as a Sr. Treasury Adjustment Specialist responsible for various Treasury processes. In 2020 while at PHEAA, Evan made the jump into HR/Training, where he became an Organizational Development and Learning Specialist. He was responsible for compliance reporting for the Agency, and also designed/developed internal Training Programs for individual contributors. This included eLearning development, Instructor-led Facilitation, design/branding, and analysis focused on training effectiveness.
Evan brings a combination of analytical background, training experience, and an intrinsic motivation to support lifelong learning and a growth mindset.

Aaron earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from East Stroudsburg University, where he was also Treasurer of the Economics Club and a member of the wrestling team.
In his free time Evan enjoys outdoor activities, gardening, sporting events and hanging out with family. He and his family enjoy home improvement projects.
